Five Things I'm Thankful Of

Thanksgiving is all about being grateful, and here is the five things I'm grateful of.

1) First I want to thank my parents for everything they had done for me. They are always there to keep me company, but now looking back at it, I think spent more time with our house keeper than my parents. Because I'm a single child, I was often lift alone at the house, maybe that's how I learn to talk to myself a lot. Even so, my parents tried very hard for me to have a good childhood, which I did, also with some problem and dark stages that all family had faced. My parents always made the best choices for me, and I'm grateful they did that. But here is something I want to make clear, many people got this mixed up. We did not move to Tennessee just for me to go to Webb, we moved because my dad has to work here. My old school is just as good as Webb, if my dad didn't need to work, we still be in my favorite city. I still glad we moved, because now I can spend more time with my grandparents and the pollution in Shanghai is getting bad (still love it~). Anyway! I love my parents.

2) Second I want to thank my friends, old and new. There was one song I learned in camp that I have never forgotten, is goes like this. "Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver, the other is gold. A circle is round, it has no end. That's how long, I will be your friend." Even if is a childish song, is proves my point. My friends in Shanghai reflects the real me, which can laugh so loudly without stopping and not care about everything else. My new friends that I made in Webb are great to have around with, they are easy to talk to and FUN! I'm grateful of my friends.

3) Third I want to thank my old English teacher, who is also my volleyball coach. My English teacher and his wife is both, two of the best teachers I ever had. They both taught me a lot. Even if my dad doesn't like my English teacher that much, because he think he didn't taught me any, but that is not true. If it wasn't for my English teacher, I would never knew the history about China's Culture Revolution. I would never had read "The Red Scarf Girl" or "China Son". He's a great teacher and I'm glad he taught me English for two years. He is also very funny. He would criticize the US once in a while and if the German kid agree with him, he would act angry and say, "You are not allow to criticize my country! Only I can, because I'm American!" Then he would high-five me. He is also a great volleyball coach, even if we lose, he will tell us we did great, but we could do better. HE IS GREAT! 

4) Fourth I want the two little kittens at home. Thanks to them, I always have something to keep me company when I go home.

5) Lastly, I want to thank myself. Amber you did good job for not going crazy! But really, I want to thank everyone who read this, thank you for reading my blog. 

My Goals

November 4th is National Goal Setting Day. Write three goals that you would like to accomplish by the time this school year ends. Why did you choose these goals, and why are they important? 

I like setting goals for myself, that gives me more self-contral over myself, because I really need it. If I had to set three goals it will be, work harder in each class, be happier, and get closer to someone I like. I like to keep my goals simple, not hard so I would stress myself, but not to easy that I will be lazy. 

First, I pick work harder in each class because some classes I have low grades in them. I know is not that I don't understood them, is that I'm not working hard enough. If I've worked hard in some of these classes, I wouldn't have the grades I do now.

Second, be happier, because I feel like I not being so positive, and I don't want to feel that way. I hope I could pick up the small things in life, and make my self happier, so I would enjoy more. 

Third, to get closer to the person I like, this is embarrassing, but is true. I like this person, and I just want to first be friends with him. I want to talk to him as a friend first, and thats all I want, not too much, not too little.

How the Jack-o-Lantern Got Its Smile:

        Once upon a time, there was a really sad pumpkin living in Pumpkinville, its name is Jack-o-Lantern. No one knows who craved it, no one know why they did, but its just there laying in front of a funeral house. People said that is because it had seen so many tragic death, it have grown sadder and sadder. One day a new girl moved in town, her name was Lily. Lily and her brother Andry were big adventurers, and they had decide on halloween night their going to check out this funeral house. A few days before halloween, they met their neighbor, who has a twin that goes to their school. This twin was a little different, they are just strange, people try to avoid them as much as they can. They called them The Zhangs. One night both of their parents want to have a neighbor dinner, so they join together at Zhang's house. The twins, Alston and Corrina stared at Lily and Andry for a long time. Finally Lily couldn't take it anymore and ask, "Can you guys stop staring, is giving me the creeps!" Alston and Corrina looked at each other and looked back at Lily and Andry, then ask, "Um...do...you guys....want to.....play a.....board game?" This made Lily and Andry realized, The Zhangs are not that different, they are just shy, and soon they became friends. On halloween day, all four of them went to the funeral house, after they went thick-or-treating. As soon as they walked in, they saw Jack-o-Lantern, they had heard many scary story about it, but they were not scared....Until, Jack-o-Lantern started to talk! It said "How dare you! How dare you foolish kids come to see Jack-o-Lantern!" Corrina started to cry, she was so scared. Jack-o-Lantern started to fly after what he said. It flew over and circle around the kids, it start taking away all their candies and snacks! The four kids start running away, suddenly Jack-o-Lantern start laughing and laughing. Thats how it got its smile, since then, Jack-o-Lantern start stealing candy from kids, and it won't stop laughing about it.

Time Capsule

If I ever have a time capsule, I would put in all the things that reminds me of good times. Maybe I would put a picture of my family, of my friends, etc.. I would also put a VCR/CD/DVD/Old records, because there won't be any of that in the future.  Hard copy books are on the top list going in my time capsule too. Well, mostly anything that might be gone in the future, will be on the top of my list. It all depends on the size on the time capsule. If I have a small time capsule, that means I have limited things to put in it, then I would just put the things that remind me of good memories. Like I said, pictures, of course. I would put some money, because I could show them the money we had. A music player, just for fun, and also make some list, like the best movie, books, etc... I would love to make a time capsule if I have a chance! 

ICE CREAM!

If I could invent a different kind of ice cream flavor, I would make it tea flavor. Red tea, green tea, flower tea, any tea you can think of. I personally love tea, specially unsweet tea. Its a combination of freshness, purity, fragrance, and a little bit bitter. The Chinese people love tea, they will drink tea more than water. It will make a big increase in the ice cream business. When tea ice cream get more popular, we can start to develop Tea Float, tea flavor ice cream cake, etc. Tea ice cream will become the next big thing on EARTH! 

If I Have a Job

If I have a job, I would be a fashion magazine editor or a international economist, something like that. I love art and I have a passion in working fashion, is just like a little girls dream. But being a fashion designer is not realistic for me, I think, so I choose to be a editor, or anything a part of the magazine, it will make me pretty much happy. Being a international economist has a better benefit in life, and also cool to be international. Me, myself is already pretty much international, so is just make it better, also my dad worked in business like that, and he would always have big hopes up about me joining the business. I DON'T KNOW WHAT I GOING TO DO!!!!!. Look at my it now, I don't actually know what I want to be, that why I came here, I was hoping after four years I would find out, hopefully. Dream big, dream on!

Hi, I'm Amber Jared, you may know about me, you may not. Anyway, today I here to talk about me, all about me! Can you handle it? Ok! Well, I'm first gonna tell you the story about me about me. 
It was the day after Christmas 1998 in Shanghai, it was cold and almost about mid-night. A baby girl was born! She was crying really loud, thats probably why she is loud now too. Her American dad was outside of the hospital room anxious waiting after 18 hours. (I doubt that, I doubt he was even there anymore.....) Her mother, a Shanghai women, was really tired but still was with joy.
Well, that was a little story of my birth, hope you enjoyed, moving on to me currently.
I am afraid of many things, like, ghost, snakes, death, and green paper, etc...Mostly anything that is bad. I love a lot of things at the same time, like, my parents, friends, family, volleyball, and EXO (is a k-pop band) etc...
I lost a lot of thing too, like, Honey Bunny (a doll), keys, and important papers. Yes, I had lose many more. 
I agree with the poem on Mrs. Berzinskas's page, is true for me and I think everyone.
Well, thats pretty much it about me, if want to know more for any reason just ask, but not too personal!
