What do you do to keep yourself healthy?

Being Healthy

It has been a few month that I am trying to be heathy. Being healthy is not torture, its

founding a new way to build your body stronger. Some few steps that I do to keep myself

healthy is these.

First, I try to exorcise about an hour everyday. I have been running, but its really hard to do.

As an old Chinese saying said, "If you are sweating, you are getting the poison out of your

body".

Second, I balance out my nutrition. I will alway have a salad on the side, or have some

vegetable, I want to have green in my body.

Third, I look at the amount I'm eating. I will try to eat a lot for breakfast to give me energy. I

will eat a good amount for lunch, to give me energy for the rest of the day. I will try to not eat

lot for dinner. The reason for that is that food need to be digested. In the evening, the food

will be harder to get digested.

Lastly, be happy. You can just be physically healthy, you also have to be mentally healthy.

Hang out with your friends, be around nature, and have some fun. Be yourself, be happy,

and be healthy.

AWAKE!

I feel the sun shining in my eyes and I feel the warmness from the sun. I relax my body and slowly turn to my right and stretch my body, while still have my eyes shut. Slowly but surly, I open my eyes. The bright sunlight shine into my eyes, I squint to block some out, but slowly getting use to the sun.

I got up, I feel a little weak, my legs are tents. Well, I did slept about 8 month. I look to my left, I see my mother and my brother, but all can think of now is to eat. I'm starving. I walked out of our cave to search for some fresh berries. About 2 miles away, I found a blue berries bush. I ate until I was full. Then I ripe down a brunch full of blue berries with my mouth, and brought it back to the cave for my family.

When I got back I saw my family has already woke up, I'm glad. Now, spring is here, we are again "alive" and warm with food, I'm happy.

I am a Grizzly Bear.

Love

When I saw the blog theme this week I said to myself “Love, uhm…ok, Love?” I realized I

haven’t fully or completely understood love. From a young age, I was fascinated by love

stories and chick flick (that’s how my dad called it). For example, The Notebook, One Day

and Valentine's Day are all my favorite movies about love. However, I have never been in a

relationship, so I don’t understand a love for a soul mate. On the other hand, my love for

my family and friends are very strong. I love my family deeply, and also I love my friends

deeply. Love  makes the world go around. If you could put love in your daily living, the

world will be a wonderful place full of love. You love the little things about your day; you

love your friends, and love the ones who respect you. Take one step more to love them,

love the things a little more today, and it will change the world.  “Let us always meet each

other with smile, for the smile is the beginning of love” (Mother Teresa).  Be more loving

to people, smile more, because every smile leads to love.

I Have a Dream

Lately, I been reading about deforestation, and I come to realize how big a problem is

deforestation. My dream for this whole world is to start saving trees. I have a dream, I dream one day

there will be no deforestation. I have a dream, that one day we can breath air that are not fill with

chemicals. I have a dream, that because there is more trees, there is no extra carbon dioxide in the air. I

have a dream, that animals can go back to where they belong. I have a dream, that by stoping

deforestation, we are stoping global warming. I have a dream, that one day, we will all surround by

nature. Deforestation must be stop!

Winter Break

This past winter break I had the best time because I had a surprised birthday gift, witch is a trip to Las Vegas. I knew the surprise before my birthday because it slipped out of my grandmother's mouth.
Anyway, my parents and I went on a five days trip to Las Vegas. We stayed at a friend's house and I had a great time with this little girl called Lindsay. She was only 8 years old, but she was the cutest little girl. We had so much fun watching High School Music and Home Alone, but one thing I want to be honest about is, she can't sing. Of course, we did all the tours stuff, like, we went to a Cirque Du Soleil called LOVE. Is baste on The Beadles music in the background. It was a fantastic show witch I enjoyed really much.
I have walked by many casinos, but I'm too young and my parents are busy, so they didn't really got to enjoy the real fun of Vegas. However, the best part of Vegas was not all the tours stuff, it was all the Chinese food we ate! I had my favorite rice soup and tofu, etc. Anyway, I had a great trip in Las Vegas and I hope I can go back again.

Five Things I'm Thankful Of

Thanksgiving is all about being grateful, and here is the five things I'm grateful of.

1) First I want to thank my parents for everything they had done for me. They are always there to keep me company, but now looking back at it, I think spent more time with our house keeper than my parents. Because I'm a single child, I was often lift alone at the house, maybe that's how I learn to talk to myself a lot. Even so, my parents tried very hard for me to have a good childhood, which I did, also with some problem and dark stages that all family had faced. My parents always made the best choices for me, and I'm grateful they did that. But here is something I want to make clear, many people got this mixed up. We did not move to Tennessee just for me to go to Webb, we moved because my dad has to work here. My old school is just as good as Webb, if my dad didn't need to work, we still be in my favorite city. I still glad we moved, because now I can spend more time with my grandparents and the pollution in Shanghai is getting bad (still love it~). Anyway! I love my parents.

2) Second I want to thank my friends, old and new. There was one song I learned in camp that I have never forgotten, is goes like this. "Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver, the other is gold. A circle is round, it has no end. That's how long, I will be your friend." Even if is a childish song, is proves my point. My friends in Shanghai reflects the real me, which can laugh so loudly without stopping and not care about everything else. My new friends that I made in Webb are great to have around with, they are easy to talk to and FUN! I'm grateful of my friends.

3) Third I want to thank my old English teacher, who is also my volleyball coach. My English teacher and his wife is both, two of the best teachers I ever had. They both taught me a lot. Even if my dad doesn't like my English teacher that much, because he think he didn't taught me any, but that is not true. If it wasn't for my English teacher, I would never knew the history about China's Culture Revolution. I would never had read "The Red Scarf Girl" or "China Son". He's a great teacher and I'm glad he taught me English for two years. He is also very funny. He would criticize the US once in a while and if the German kid agree with him, he would act angry and say, "You are not allow to criticize my country! Only I can, because I'm American!" Then he would high-five me. He is also a great volleyball coach, even if we lose, he will tell us we did great, but we could do better. HE IS GREAT!

4) Fourth I want the two little kittens at home. Thanks to them, I always have something to keep me company when I go home.

5) Lastly, I want to thank myself. Amber you did good job for not going crazy! But really, I want to thank everyone who read this, thank you for reading my blog.

My Goals

November 4th is National Goal Setting Day. Write three goals that you would like to accomplish by the time this school year ends. Why did you choose these goals, and why are they important?

I like setting goals for myself, that gives me more self-contral over myself, because I really need it. If I had to set three goals it will be, work harder in each class, be happier, and get closer to someone I like. I like to keep my goals simple, not hard so I would stress myself, but not to easy that I will be lazy.

First, I pick work harder in each class because some classes I have low grades in them. I know is not that I don't understood them, is that I'm not working hard enough. If I've worked hard in some of these classes, I wouldn't have the grades I do now.

Second, be happier, because I feel like I not being so positive, and I don't want to feel that way. I hope I could pick up the small things in life, and make my self happier, so I would enjoy more.

Third, to get closer to the person I like, this is embarrassing, but is true. I like this person, and I just want to first be friends with him. I want to talk to him as a friend first, and thats all I want, not too much, not too little.
